The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the Int’l Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2019 Colorado Distillery of the Year at the New York Int’l Spirits Competition. In 2018, Breckenridge Distillery won the coveted Icons of Whisky for Brand Innovator of the Year.
Since coming online in 2008 and releasing its first vodka and bourbon three years later, Breckenridge Distillery has quickly become an award-winning producer of fine spirits, being designated one of the top three bourbons in the U.S. How it all came to be, however, stems from a mix of just the right ingredients, a hint of luck and a deep love for quality whiskey.
The Products
This high-rye Bourbon Whiskey is aged for a minimum of three years, in charred, new American oak barrels, and blended to reveal the unique qualities of the Bourbon Whiskey. Deep, honey-amber hue with pronounced aromas of butterscotch, candied orange and apple; dry cacao and brown sugar envelop the tongue as the spirit lingers with notes of vanilla and white pepper.
Breckenridge Bourbon High Proof Whiskey
Blended Bourbon Whiskey, but with a twist, bottled at a gripping 105 proof. A wild ride through rich, dark caramel and toasted almonds, burnt Baker’s chocolate and dried orange peel, with a lingering finish of vanilla and spice. A masterful combination of mouthful flavors, furnish their Bourbon Whiskey to a deep, burnt orange hue.

Breckenridge PX Cask Bourbon Whiskey
From the Andalusia province of Spain, a luscious dessert wine is produced from the shriveled raisins of the Pedro Ximenez (PX) grape. Breckenridge acquired a selection of retired PX barrels from a solera hundreds of years old and filled them with rich and spicy Bourbon Whiskey. Left to bask in these ripe, fruity vessels, this Whiskey emerged with complex layers of fig compote, orange marmalade, and licorice to complement the sweet oak and vanilla character of their world-renowned Bourbon Whiskey.
Breckenridge Buddy Pass Imperial Stout Cask Finished Bourbon Whiskey
Cinnamon and oak envelop the nose with a light background of fresh orange zest and chocolate. Smooth abundant caramel and dark chocolate hit the palate first as a dry matured oak and bold cinnamon spice follow and ride out for a long dry, spicy finish.
Breckenridge Port Cask Bourbon Whiskey
This Bourbon Whiskey has been given the royal treatment, finishing its aging process in 59 gallon Tawny Port casks. The result is a uniquely smooth and flavorful whiskey with a sultana raisin and maple syrup aroma and finish.

Their Colorado Rum is made with turbinado sugars and dark molasses, mashed and distilled in house. Aged in award-winning Breckenridge Bourbon casks, then finished with carefully selected roots, spices, and dried fruits. Holiday cloves mingle, while cinnamon-dipped green apples hypnotize in the background.
