W.K. Reed was a little-known California copper legend lost in the shadows of the gold rush. In 1860, he founded the town of Copperopolis, which hosted characters from the notorious stagecoach robber Black Bart to the electricity pioneer Nikola Tesla.
We created W.K. Reed Whiskey to be as versatile as copper, making it a workhorse in any saloon. It is a California whiskey made from a mash bill of 80% corn, 10% rye, and 10% barley, and was blended specifically for making cocktails.

Barrel RM was started by two friends when the rising price of our favorite whiskey inspired us to start a distillery to make great spirits that can be purchased at fair prices.
We worked for years figuring out how to create amazing blending legs that could combine into whiskeys made for cocktails.
