First matured in refill American Oak & European Oak casks and finished in Amoroso-seasoned, re-charred American Oak casks with re-charred new AO ends, the whisky starts with the scent of fresh sea air and seaweed. The taste is smoky and briny yet sweet with fruit, balanced with pepper, notes of fig, date, and sea salt, followed by peat smoke and cocoa nib finish.
