A Dry And Grassy Fernet That Slaps You In The Face — In A Good Way.
Our Fernet will make its mark on the current amari landscape. It is rich and complex, yet not overpowering. It is grassier and less sweet than other Fernets on the market, and its 21 roots, herbs and spices are playfully balanced for the drinker.
The botanicals are macerated for months and the final product rests in tanks until it has reached bottling mellowness.
Geijer Spirits was started to share my Swedish great grandmothers’ glögg recipe. I never realized that I would fall in love with the craft spirit space so wholeheartedly and that this would lead to releasing further niche products for the cocktailing and mixology scene.
Being inspired by all the flavors brought forward by talented bartenders really opened up my eyes to the balance and harmony of complex flavors, and I started filling every flat surface with maceration, infusions and crazy experiments. I quickly learned that a well-balanced spirit did not need a lot of sugar to taste good, so all of my spirits have much lower sugar content than other products on the market. All these infusions were then tirelessly combined into innumerous expressions that lead to award-winning craft spirits, one at a time.
By happy coincidence, I teamed up with the extremely talented distiller at Coastal Spirits and working closely together we turned these home infusions into the spirits you see and taste today. Loaded with botanicals and low in sugar.
I hope you enjoy drinking these spirits as much as I enjoy making them.
