St. Patrick's Day is quickly approaching, and that means getting creative with craft spirits! When it comes to this holiday, there are a few classic Irish favorites like Guinness and Baileys but why not mix things up this year and try something new? In honor of St. Paddy’s, we've created three crafty cocktail recipes using some unique ingredients—each one guaranteed to make your March 17th festivities all the more delicious! 

1. Green Maiden

The Green Maiden craft cocktail made with vodka is sure to be the hit of any party! This dynamic drink combines the refreshing aromas of cucumber, mint and lime juice with crisp vodka that make for an unforgettable flavor.

Green Maiden

  • 2 oz. Locals Only Vodka
  • 1 oz. cucumber juice
  • 0.75 oz. lime juice
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 5-6 mint leaves
  • Soda water
  • Garnish: Cucumber ribbon

Muddle mint leaves in a cocktail shaker. Pour vodka, lime juice, cucumber juice, and simple syrup into the cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake ingredients. Using a strainer, pour ingredients into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with a skewered cucumber ribbon.

 

2. St. Patrick's Sour

Nothing says St. Patrick's Day quite like a festive concoction of classic Irish whiskey and green apple combined with an additional hint of honey for sweetness. If you’re looking for the perfect holiday-inspired cocktail to enjoy, the St. Patrick Sour is an ideal fit!

Pour whiskey, lemon juice, green apple syrup, honey and egg white into a cocktail shaker. Shake well for about 30 seconds. Add ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake for an additional 5-10 seconds. Using a strainer, pour ingredients into a coupe or rocks glass. Garnish with gold glitter or flakes.

Pour whiskey, lime juice, pineapple juice, peach syrup, and a drop or two of green food coloring into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake ingredients. Using a strainer, pour ingredients into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
