BUILDING A
LEGACY
WEBB'S GRAINWORKS
In 1954 Lewis McKinney Webb left West Virginia with his young wife seeking new opportunities in the Golden Republic of California. In 2007 their youngest son Jeremy Webb, having followed his roots back East, graduated from West Virginia University with a passion for the Appalachian whiskey tradition. After spending some time in Kentucky to study the craft of Bourbon production, he returned to California to start a family of his own and build a state-of-the-art distillery and brewery steeped in tradition.
IT ALL STARTS WITH
THE GRAIN
At Webb’s Grainworks all of our spirits and beer are made from grain. For instance, our whiskey is 72% Corn, 18% Rye and 10% Malted Barley. Occasionally we use more specialized grains like red wheat and millet. We also use many of these same grains in beer production, such as barley, rice and corn. Furthermore, the kitchen produces all its bread in-house daily just to drive the point home. Webb’s Grainworks, we work with grain.
