Four Grain bourbon is the most complex of all bourbons, yet with a complex recipe comes a harmonious flavor. 4 Grain & Spire begins with a mash bill of 55% corn, 18% rye, 22% wheat, 5% malted barley, then aged in charred American White Oak barrels. We honor the tradition of distillation & aging to the letter. After aging, we add a twist – an American Oak spire, seasoned and toasted, imparting big, creamy flavors, and notes of caramel, ginger, and allspice.

In-Bottle Finishing™
Wood; it's what makes whiskey taste like whiskey. When someone prefers a certain flavor in a whiskey, they are really saying they like the naturally occurring flavors that come from the barrel wood the whiskey was aged in.
At Oak & Eden, we follow traditional distillation and aging to the letter, aging our whiskeys for at least three years in American Oak barrels.
We break tradition in the finishing (or double barrel) process, where instead of putting our fully aged whiskey in a second barrel to add more flavor coming naturally from the wood, we place in the bottle a Spire; a spiral-cut piece of oak fashioned from the same species and treatment as barrel oak.
This allows our whiskey to "finish" or flavor naturally, producing rich, sweet flavors that could only come from the power of wood.
Nose
Rich and inviting, with layers of caramelized sweetness from the corn and a touch of spice from the rye. The presence of toasted oak and hints of warm ginger and allspice rise, offering a comforting complexity.
Palate
A smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a harmonious balance of sweet corn, the smoothness of wheat, and a subtle spice from the rye. The malted barley adds depth, while the oak spire imparts flavors of caramel, vanilla, and a gentle warmth from the ginger and allspice. The wheat adds a softness to the body, enhancing the overall complexity without overpowering the other grains.
Finish
Long and lingering, with notes of warm oak, caramel, and a final whisper of spice from the ginger and allspice, leaving a satisfying, creamy sensation.
