A traditional method where the quiote is cut before it blooms. This redirects the agave's energy and sugars back into the piña, resulting in a sweeter and richer juice.

My journey with Oaxaca began in childhood, a region marked by cultural richness juxtaposed with economic disparity within Mexico. Despite its past perception as outdated, Oaxaca now stands at the forefront of progress. The question arose: does Oaxaca need another mezcal brand? For me, the answer is a resounding yes. With mezcal becoming increasingly commoditized, our mission is to elevate its status to that of a fine spirit, preserving tradition while empowering marginalized communities. By reshaping the global perception of mezcal, we aim to bring dignity to its production and redefine Mexico's cultural relevance on a global scale.
