Hugh Wesley’s is distilled form wild foraged juniper berries and is one of the only gins in the world to utilize the Juniperus Virginiana variety. It also uses coriander, orange peel and anise in the botanical blend.

John Emerald Distilling is a small batch craft distillery located in beautiful downtown Opelika, Alabama. We offer tours, cocktails, and bottle sales in house as well as distribute our spirits throughout Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, New York, California, Colorado, and Illinois.
We are proud of our heritage. From the original three Sharp brothers who ventured to America from Scotland to the namesake of our company, John Emerald Sharp, the Sharps have lived lives of integrity: honoring God, their fellow man and their family. So when it came time to name our distillery, the idea to honor our forefathers in name and spirit rang true.

1.5oz Hugh Wesley’s Gin, 1.5oz lime juice, .75oz honey, 4 mint leaves, and 2 lemon slices. Muddle, shake and serve dirty.
The Laid Back-
1.5oz Hugh Wesley’s Gin, 3oz grapefruit juice, .5oz lime juice and 2 dashes of aromatic bitters. Shake and serve dirty.
