MIST IS REFLECTIVE OF THE PNW’S BRIGHT, CRISP AIR ON A COLD WINTER’S DAY. IT PERFORMS BEAUTIFULLY AS A DRY MARTINI AND AS A GNT WITH A SPRIG OF ROSEMARY AND A GRAPEFRUIT SLICE. MIST IS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL BALANCED WITH A LIGHT TOUCH OF JUNIPER.

ROSY HIBISCUS-GIN
LOWBALL:
1 HIBISCUS TEA BAG, STEEPED + COOLED
12 FRESH MINT LEAVES
2 TSP FRESH LIME JUICE, PLUS LIME WHEEL,
FOR GARNISH
1 TSP DARK MAPLE SYRUP
1 1/2 OZ ASTRAEA MIST GIN
1/2 OZ OUNCE) COCCHI AMERICANO
ICE CUBES
2 DASHES ORANGE BITTERS

Gently muddle herb leaves in a mixing
glass or cocktail shaker. Add lime juice
and maple syrup; muddle until liquid
is fully extracted. Stir in 1/4 cup hibiscus tea,
gin, and Cocchi Americano.
Strain mixture into a rocks glass
filled halfway with ice cubes. Add orange bitters,
and garnish with lime wheel
