Ryan Perry, Heaven's Door Master Blender
Ryan Perry has an extensive global background in spirits. Prior to Heaven’s Door, Ryan managed all the new and used cask programs for Bourbon, Whiskey, Scotch, Rum and Tequila for the world’s largest spirits producer. At Heaven’s Door, Ryan leads all of the product development, blending and finishing of their whiskeys. Working with co-creator Bob Dylan, Heaven’s Door whiskeys have received HIGH accolades from leading whiskey authorities as well as being decorated with over 25 medals including Spirit of the Year 2019 from London Spirits Competition and Double Gold from both San Francisco and New York World Wine & Spirits Competition.

Strong flavors of dried fruit, heartland-toasted grains and oats, with a finish of persimmon, mulberry and fennel. Bold and complex with a lasting caramel finish.

HD Old Fashioned

2 oz Heaven’s Door Double Barrel Whiskey

4 dashes Angostura bitters 

1 sugar cube

1-2 drops distilled water

Orange peel

Method: Combine sugar cube, water and angostura bitters into a cocktail glass and stir until sugar has dissolved. Add Heaven’s Door Double Barrel Whiskey and a large ice cube. Stir and garnish with orange peel. 

Rolling Thunder

1 1/2 oz Heaven’s Door Double Barrel Whiskey

1/2 oz Lime juice 

1/2 oz Pineapple juice  

1/2 oz Orgeat syrup

3 dashes Angostura bitters

Lime wheel

Method: Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into cocktail glass over ice. Garnish with dashes of Angostura bitters and lime wheel.
