Our first collection presents a selection of 6 rare Magueys distilled by 3RD Generation Maestro Mezcalero, Saturnino Martínez Méndez, at PALENQUE TEPEXTATE in the village of Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, Mexico.
The Protected Denomination of Origin for Mezcal protects the distillation of 37 Agave species (referred to as "Magueys") from 9 different Mexican regions. Mezcal is made in distilleries called “Palenques" led by "Maestro Mezcaleros."
The combination of each region and Palenque's traditional production methods and each Maguey's unique characteristics and maturation process informs the magical flavors highlighted in our Mezcals.
