In 2007 their youngest son Jeremy Webb, having followed his roots back East, graduated from West Virginia University with a passion for the Appalachian whiskey tradition. After spending some time in Kentucky to study the craft of Bourbon production, he returned to California to start a family of his own and build a state-of-the-art distillery and brewery steeped in tradition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIT ALL STARTS  WITH\u003cbr\u003eTHE GRAIN\u003cbr\u003eAt Webb’s Grainworks all of our spirits and beer are made from grain. For instance, our whiskey is 72% Corn, 18% Rye and 10% Malted Barley. Occasionally we use more specialized grains like red wheat and millet. We also use many of these same grains in beer production, such as barley, rice and corn. Furthermore, the kitchen produces all its bread in-house daily just to drive the point home.
