The Vermont Gold Vodka Story
Our award-winning small batch vodka is handmade from nature's most eco-friendly ingredient: pure maple sap. Over 20 years ago, we set out to make a spirit so pure it could be 100% locally sourced. Celebrating the abundance of Vermont's natural resources, we began distilling maple and blending it with the same pure water that rushes through the great Quechee Gorge. Twenty-three years later we've refined our process but we remain true to the craft and responsible to the land. Our maple is sourced from a local family maple farm, and we concentrate then skillfully ferment the sap to preserve its unique characteristics. The maple is fermented, the wash distilled in our maple arch and one-of-a-kind glass fractionating column still and finally blended with pure Vermont water. The result is an exceptionally clean American vodka with notes of maple and white pepper, and a bright, clean finish. Vermont Gold Vodka is 100% Forest To Bottle.

Crystal clear in color and instantly recognizable. Notes of white pepper and toasted wood on the tongue, with subtle aromas of maple sweetness and caramel. The taste is light and teasing, with the richness of lingering butterscotch balanced by the bite of alcohol. A bright, clean, and delicate maple sugar finish. Entirely gluten-free and grain-free; there is no other vodka like it.

Two ladies walked in the other day. They were here for craft cocktails. (We serve ’em up every Tuesday 3pm – 6pm). One of the ladies ordered a No 14 Old Fashioned, then asked her friend what she wanted. The other lady said, “They don’t have what I want.” I said, “How about a martini if I use some maple syrup to sweeten it up?” She said she would give it a try. She ended up having two.
2 part Vermont Gold Vodka
1 part Dry Vermouth
1 whisper Pure Vermont Maple Syrup
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with lemon peel twist.
Vermont Gold Vodka is made with two ingredients (and two only): pure Vermont maple and crystal clear Vermont water. But it’s not a flavored vodka. It’s simply distilled maple mash instead of traditional grain or potato. But the difference is on the palate. Vermont Gold Vodka is incredibly smooth and makes for the perfect martini. The addition of maple syrup gently sweetens the cocktail and brings out the slightest suggestion of vanilla.
