Deviant Spirits Distillery was founded by three close friends in Boulder, Colorado. It started like most young businesses do; in the basement with a blowtorch. Our first operating still was a true blend of tradition and budget inspired ingenuity. For months the sounds of saws, and welding torches could be heard throughout the house and after spending the majority of twelve months in the basement, our head distiller and mad scientist Jeremy Moyers finally emerged with a vodka (and 100lbs of empty ramen containers) so smooth and unique that we all knew we would have to share it with the world. Additionally our products are 100% rice-based.
Jeremy Moyers graduated Cum Laude from Boston University's Manufacturing Engineering program with an emphasis on Product Design in 2007. His professional background includes working for Fortune 500 companies such as Medtronic, Raytheon Inc., and Goodrich's Aerospace Division. Jeremy has spent the past five years perfecting his understanding of high-quality spirits, produced in small batch quantities that meet his rigorous standards for top-of-the-line consumption. Jeremy’s personal goal is to form a marriage between time-tested techniques, modern equipment, and the deep passion he brings to the table as Deviant Spirits' Master Distiller and Production Manager.
