818 Tequila Blanco is a smooth and crisp tequila with a bright and crispy finish. This platinum-colored tequila is made from agave and vanilla, with tropical and citrus fruit undertones. It's rested in French oak for a fresh vanilla roundness.
At 818, while you raise your glass, we hope to raise the bar through our sustainable and transparent process. We believe you should understand the craft and hard work that goes into creating a bottle of our award-winning product.
SOURCING THE BEST AGAVES
Our tequila’s journey starts with the work of skilled jimadores, agave farmers local to the Tequila region. They identify agaves located in the Los Valles region of Tequila, finding optimal conditions for 818 by waiting for at least 7 years for the agaves to reach peak maturity.
COOKED IN TRADITIONAL BRICK OVENS
Next, we cook our carefully-selected agaves in stone ovens for up to 40 hours. Large stone Tahonas are then used to extract and collect the juice by crushing the cooked agaves, a technique that has been around for centuries.
DISTILLED IN ALEMBIC POT STILLS
818 is fermented for 70 hours and then distilled in pot stills. We distill our tequilas twice to enhance our favorite aromas.
MADE IN HARMONY WITH THE EARTH
Finally, we package our bottles for the world to share. We’re proud that our suppliers, like us, prioritize sustainability and transparency in the production of their materials every step of the way.
We work closely with local, family-owned farms in Jalisco, Mexico to bring you the smoothest, most natural, and best tasting tequila possible. Only the highest quality ingredients are used in its creation.
The area code 818 is home to me, but the earth is home to all of us.So, from the agaves we grow, to the production of the bottle, sustainability and transparency of our supply chain was our core focus. We feel a great sense of responsibility and pride to have a positive impact on individuals, communities, and the environment. We've had so many magical nights drinking 818 and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

WORKING WITH ONLY THE BEST
People are at the core of our business. Those who share the magic of 818 with their friends; those who sell our product nationally; and those who work to craft this award-winning tequila for everyone to enjoy. We greatly appreciate and support the work of the local family-owned businesses in Jalisco, and are honored to have them as a part of the 818 family.
GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITIES
818 commits to putting people and the planet over profit. With every bottle of 818 sold, we will donate 1% of revenue to environmental nonprofit partners to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. As a 1% for the Planet member, 818 proudly joins a growing global network of businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations working to address the most pressing issues of our time. We hope that other businesses can agree to join the pledge and consider all stakeholders when making decisions.
